Purchasing a 1973 New Port 30

In the process of purchasing pending sea trial a 1973 New Port 30 Mark II which has not been used for two seasons. Upon hull examination only two or three blisters. The boat is powered by an Atomic 4 which has been started, but can not run off the main tank (uses auxillary). I will be doing an all day sea trial on the Potomac River without the owner (estate sale). I would appreciate any tips on items that I should pay attention to during the sea trail and when I have the boat back on land prior to taking final delivery. I will have a survey performed prior to purchase. You all have a fantastic web site with a lot of good exchanges of information. Thank you in advance for your helpful pointers.
