Came across a '76 Newport 30 for 10k, have not seen her and am wondering if I should. I cruise the upper Chesapeake and am looking for a fast, reliable weekender. How are these boats performing? Am I looking for trouble in terms of blistering, or other known problems? I seem to be having difficulty finding anyone around here that knows anything about them, any suggestions for resources or perceptions would be most welcome.
