Hello:

I am looking at buying a 1986 Newport 27-MKIII Sloop. I have been torn between this boat and a 1985 Hunter 28.5. Some people have told me that Hunter is considered a lower class of boat and others have told me the same thing in reference to the Newport.

Can anyone give me an opinion on the Newport's quality, dependability, and performance? Which would you choose for the same price? ($16,000)
