A sawsall and a Newport Hull Liner were made for each other!!! If I had more time, I'd cut more liner out! I like to use West System Epoxy for bonding the boat together rather than polyester, but that's maybe because it's stronger and really easy to work with. JUST MAKE SURE that you seal any access that water might make into the balsa core on the coach-roof/Cabin and cockpit areas. Feel free to write me with specific questions.
